Hit Radio 876 is Seymour and North Central Victoria's 100% Hit Radio station, with the aim to involve young people from across the region in radio presentation ! Hit Radio has been on air since 1 January this year, and is getting more listeners every day.
Hit Radio features the chart hits, dance and club tracks and brand new music - all day everyday ! AND we feature retro 90s classics PLUS the best weekly feature shows...
HIT RADIO 87.6 FM relies on business and community sponsorship, along with donations and fundraiaing efforts. Local businesses and community organisations are welcome to assist by joining as a sponsor. Otherwise, DONATIONS are welcome at any time to PO Box 8040 Seymour South, 3660. HIT RADIO plays nothing but the hottest new music, including new releases, chart hits, dance and club hits. Our policy is 100% Hits ! You'll also hear 80s and 90s Flashbacks during the day - there's nothing like it !
Soon, we'll be organising a training intake at HIT RADIO - to get you radio ready and see if you've got that HIT RADIO sound and feel. You must like what we play, We don't run Country or jazz music or things like that.
HIT RADIO absolutely depends on volunteers just like you to carry out the work of the station.
At HIT RADIO we have volunteer openings for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to everything from promotional work, clerical support, script writing, music production, operating sound boards, announcing, and computer help, and many, many other things.
Volunteering at HIT RADIO can take many, many paths. Our policy is to favour young people up to the age of 25 in voluntary jobs, including announcing, music slection and promotions etc - after all to have a youth radio station not involving young people is a bit like having qualified accountants and master chefs serving take-away hamburgers.
Businesses and Community groups providing services to young people can register as station sponsors, and be recognised as key supporters of the Hit Radio project - local youth radio !
